gardener must learn these two tasks and make gardening pots ready properly. Now
see how to do these two tasks of gardening pots.
How to Choose Gardening Pots for Planting Seedlings
Choosing
gardening pots depends on how tall the mature tree will be. If a full-grown
plant is one foot tall, choose an 8-inch pot for it. If the full-grown is
two feet tall, choose a 10-inch pot for it. Again, if the full-grown is
three feet tall, choose a 12-inch pot. Choose a 14 to 16-inch pot if the
full plant is four feet tall. Choose a half barrel or drum if the full tree is
5 feet tall. In addition to pots and drums in the above proportions, you
can choose buckets, gunny bugs, cement bags, and any plastic or earthenware
containers.
How to Make Drainage Systems in Gardening Pots
The pot
drainage system is very important for indoor gardening. If the drainage system

drums.
2. If there is no hole at the bottom of the pot, make two
holes with half an inch.
3. Place two pieces of brick over two holes.
4. Place small stones or brick pieces one inch thick.
5. Place white sand one inch thick on small stones or brick
pieces
6. Finally, press them with your hand.
Your pot
drainage system is well done. Now you can fill this pot with soil.

Select and Prepare Gardening Soil
Gardening
soil is very important for the gardeners. Some crops grow well in loamy soil,
some in sandy soil and some in clay soil. So, before gardening, you must know
which crops grow well in which soil. And, in the case of indoor
gardening, you must prepare these three types of soil at home. So, you should
learn how to make these three types of soil. Besides, you must learn how to
prepare seed germination soil and how to prepare soil for planting seedlings.
Now learn how to make the above soils from below.
How to Prepare Soil for Seed Germination
The most
difficult task of gardening is to prepare soil for seed germination. The task
is not difficult but the lack of knowledge of seed germination makes the task
difficult. If the soil for seed germination cannot be prepared properly,
seeds don’t germinate well. As a result, at last, the new gardeners have
to bring seedlings from the nursery. But all seedlings are not available in the
nursery according to one's choice. So, it is better to collect hybrid seeds
according to the choice and germinate seeds at home. Now take a look and
learn how to prepare seed germination soil.

Germinate Seeds
Seed
germination is a very difficult task in indoor gardening or outdoor gardening.
If you want to make a garden, you must learn to germinate seeds. Most new
gardeners fail to germinate seeds. As a result, they are to run to the nursery
for seedlings. But all seedlings are not available in the nursery
according to your choice. Even if you want to plant something new in your
garden, it cannot be planted for want of seedlings. But if you can learn
to germinate seeds, you can make seedlings by collecting any seeds online and
planting those seedlings in your garden. Now see how to germinate seeds.
How to Germinate Seeds
In the
case of indoor or outdoor gardening, seeds can be germinated in three ways. Now
learn how to germinate seeds in those three ways.
A) Germinate Seeds in the Gardening Pot Soil
In the
sphere of indoor gardening, you can germinate seeds in the soil of a pot.
Follow the instructions below to germinate seeds in the soil of a port. (100%
germination confirmed)
1. First, collect seeds of hybrid varieties. Then dry
the seeds in the sun for one day and soak them in water in the evening.
2. For germinating seeds, make the soil ready in the way
described above.
3. Take a pot of 8/10 inches and make a drainage system as
mentioned above.
4. Fill the pot with soil exactly as instructed above and
keep some soil to cover the seeds.
5. Soak the soil well by spraying water on the topsoil of
the pot. When the water on the topsoil dries, spread the seeds properly on the
topsoil.
6. Then cover the seeds lightly with kept soil. Never
thicken the soil on the seeds. Somehow cover the seeds. Then spray
water lightly on the topsoil
7. Cover the face of the pot with polythene, tie it with
rope, and keep the pot in a shady place for 6/7 days.
8. After 6/7 days, you will see that all your seeds have
germinated.
9. After germinating seeds, keep the pot in the sun little
by little daily. After three or four days, keep the pot in full sunlight.
10. When the seedlings are one month old, transfer the
seedlings to other pots.
B) Germinate Seeds in a Paper Towel
Germinating
seeds in a paper towel is very easy. It is a modern method of seed germination.
If you germinate seeds in a paper towel, 90% of the seeds will germinate if the
seeds are good. So, now look at how to germinate seeds in a paper towel.
1. To germinate seeds in a paper towel, dry the seeds in
the sun for one day and soak the seeds in water in the evening.
2. Take a small container with a lid. First, spread a
piece of tissue paper in the container. Then place the soaked seeds one
by one on the tissue paper.
3. After placing all the seeds on the tissue paper, cover
the seeds well with another tissue paper and lightly moisten the tissue paper
with water.
4. Then close the mouth of the container with the lid and
keep it somewhere in the room for 4-5 days.
5. All seeds will germinate within 4/5 days. After
germinating the seeds, place the seeds in a pot filled with soil, cover them
with light soil, and keep the pot in a shady place for 4/5 days. After 4/5
days, keep the pot in the sunlight little by little. Then keep it in full
sunlight after a week.
Remember
that seedlings by paper towel are like scissors babies. Suddenly, they
can't tolerate direct sunlight and rain. In this method, after germinating
seeds, if the seedlings are kept in the sun or rain at once, all the seedlings
will die. So, you have to keep the seedlings in the sun little by little
daily. After keeping them in the sun little by little for a week, now keep them
in direct sunlight.
C) Germinate Seeds in Soil Outdoors
In case
of outdoor gardening, follow the instructions below to germinate seeds outdoors
or in the fields.
1. Cultivate 4/5 times in seedbed land.
2. Dig a small drain around the seedbed.
3. Keep the soil of the drain by the side of the
drain.
4. Break the lump of land and grind it into powder.
5. Keep the seedbed soil moist. If the seedbed is dry, soak
it lightly with water.
6. Then sow the seeds in the seedbed and cover the seeds
lightly with soil.
7. Then level the upper soil of the seedbed by hand or with
any tool.
8. Then spread the straws on the seedbed.
Keep them
till all the seeds germinate. Occasionally, notice whether the seedbed has
dried up or not. If dry, spray with water lightly. All the seeds will
germinate within 6/7 days. Once the seeds germinate, remove the
straws. When the seedbed is dry, spray water occasionally. And, when the seedlings
are 1 month old, transfer the seedlings to the mainland.

Plant
Seedlings
Planting
seedlings is very important for indoor and outdoor gardening. If you do
not plant seedlings properly, they can die. So, whether you make indoor
or outdoor garden, you must learn about planting seedlings properly. Now
take a look at how to plant seedlings in pots in indoor gardening
How to Plant Seedlings in Pots
If you
bring seedlings with soil from a nursery, you will keep them in a shady place
for three or four days. Then plant one seedling in each pot. And, if you
bring soilless seedlings from the nursery, you will plant two seedlings in each
pot. But if it is a fruit seedling, plant one seedling in each pot. If you make
seedlings at home, plant two seedlings in each pot. After planting the
seedlings, water the roots of the seedlings in the pots and keep them in a
shady place for three or four days. After three or four days, keep them
in full sunlight.
How to Plant Seedlings Outdoors
In the
case of outdoor gardening, keep two two-foot distances between line and line
and also two feet distance between seedling and seedling. But if it is a
fruit plant, keep a minimum distance of 8 to 10 feet from line to line and from
plant to plant. After planting seedlings, water the roots of the seedlings in
the morning and afternoon for three days. After three days, the roots of
the seedlings will adjust to the soil. Then you don't have to supply water
anymore. Irrigate later if necessary. Some seedlings can die.
Replace these dead seedlings with new seedlings
Tip: 9
Care for Plants
A) Basic Care
In the
case of indoor gardening, 15 days after planting seedlings, clean the weeds of
the roots of the seedlings with a hoe and loosen the soil at the roots of the
seedlings. If there are two seedlings in one pot, keep one healthy and vigorous
seedling in each pot and transfer the rest to another pot. When the seedlings
are one foot tall, prune all the old leaves of the seedlings and bury one stick
by the side of each seedling, and tie the seedling to the stick with thread.
Always Water the plants every afternoon.
In the
case of outdoor gardening, clean the weeds of the land with a hoe and loosen
the soil at the roots of the seedlings with a spade. Irrigate if necessary.
B) Fertilize
In the
case of indoor gardening, if the seedlings are 15 days old, apply one glass of
dried cow dung cake rotted water (Cow dung tea) or mustard oil-cake rotted
water or banana peel or vegetable residue rotted water at the roots of each
plant. Thus apply this liquid organic or chemical fertilizer every 15 days. If
you don't want to use organic liquid fertilizer, apply 5/6 pieces of urea and
5/6 pieces of DAB at the roots of each plant as chemical
fertilizer.
In the
case of outdoor gardening, apply fertilizer to the land according to the advice
of the nearest agriculture officer as to how much fertilizer should be applied
per hectare in which crops, and what type of fertilizer should be applied.
C) Control Pests and Diseases
In the
case of indoor gardening, spray neem oil and washing powder mixed with water
once a week to protect the seedlings from diseases and insects. In case of any
serious disease or insect attack on the plants, contact your nearest
agriculture officer and apply pesticides to them according to his/her advice.
In the
case of outdoor gardening, pesticides should never be applied to any plants
without the advice of the agriculture officer.
Tip: 10
Harvest
Harvesting
is an important task. After growing seeds or plants with great difficulty, if
you do not harvest at the right time, the crop may be damaged. So, when you
grow seeds or plants, you must know how long it takes to harvest and how to
harvest them. If you know the best time and way to harvest them, your crop will
not be damaged. So, when you grow seeds or plants, know when to harvest and how
to harvest them.
Tip: 11
Make and Use Liquid Organic Fertilizer
Method 1:
First,
take a pot made of soil and pour one liter of water into that pot. Then mix
100 grams of mustard oil cake powder in the water and close the mouth of the
pot with a lid. Shake the mixture of water and mustard oil cake powder with a
stick daily. Keep the pot closed again. After one week, mix 10
liters of normal water with this mixed water. Then take a glass of water from
this water and apply it to the roots of each plant. Use this mixture
every 15 days.
Method 2:
Take a
bucket with half a bucket of water. Then give dry cow dung cakes in the water
of the bucket. Keep them for a week. After a week, remove the cow
dung cakes from the water. After removing the cow dung cakes, the name of the
water that will remain is cow dung tea. Take 1 liter of cow dung tea from
the bucket and mix it with 10 liters of normal water. Then give a glass of
water at the roots of each plant after every 15 days. Lastly, turn the
cow dung cakes into powder, dry them in the sun, and mix them with soil while
making potting soil.
Method 3:
Take half
a bucket of water in a bucket. Keep the rest of the curry in this bucket daily
and shake it with a stick daily. After giving the remaining part of the
curry cut in this bucket for three or four days, stop giving the rest of the
curry cut. Keep them for a week in this way but shake the remaining part
of curry daily with a stick. After a week, remove the rest of the curry from
the water, place them in a cement bag, and mix the same amount of soil with
them. After two months, the rest of the curry will turn into
compost. Mix this compost manure while making potting soil. And,
after removing the remaining part of the curry from the water, mix ten times
normal water with the remaining water and give a glass of water at the roots of
each plant after every 15 days.
Method 4:
Take 1
liter of water in a container. Keep ripe banana shells in the container.
After keeping ripe banana shells for three to four days, stop keeping banana
shells in this container. Keep them in this way for a week. After a week,
remove the banana shells from the pot, dry them in the sun, grind them, and mix
them while making soil. And, mix ten times water with the water in this
container and give one glass to the roots of the plant. This liquid organic
fertilizer contains potassium. As a result, it will only apply this liquid
organic fertilizer after the plants bear fruits.
Method-5:
After
taking tea, keep the tea leaves in one place without throwing them away.
If the amount of collected tea leaves is one glass, dry them in the sun and
give 1 teaspoon to the roots of each plant.
Method-6:
After
eating eggs, keep eggshells in one place without throwing them. Once the
eggshells are collected, grind them loosen the soil at the roots of the plants,
and mix them with the soil little by little.
